Alexander died suddenly at the age of 48 in 1935, leaving behind his wife Hadassah, his daughter Raya Arnona, and his two sons Yitzhak Yosef and Yaakov Avigdor.

Few of his works have been published in his performances. The most famous of them is "Magen Avot" - a performance he performed in a duet with his father.
Several other works were made famous in his performances by cantor enthusiast Barry Sirota, including: Reza Ha-Ha - Schlossberg; Havdalah - Zilberts; Ki Keshmekh - arranged by Hershman; recordings from a concert with his father in Chicago.
Although it is accepted that the day of his death falls on the 18th of Sivan, some claim that the day of his death fell last month, in the month of Iyar.
According to the US National Insurance death records, Alexander Kousovicky died in May 1975. The records do not specify the day of the month. According to the Hebrew calendar, May 1975 began on the 20th of Iyar and ended on the 22nd of Sivan.
May his memory be blessed.
