Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz attacked his colleague in the political-security cabinet, Education Minister Naftali Bennett, this morning (Sunday).
""Cabinet members should not get into a fight to gain political gain. The phenomenon of a cabinet minister who heads a small party, ready to inflame the entire Gaza sector because of political considerations and drag the entire system into war is extremely serious," says Katz.
He said, "Bennett is trying to expand his base of supporters at the expense of national interests and this needs to stop. I intend to fight the norms of cabinet work during Operation Protective Edge.".

Minister Katz referred to the meeting with Prime Minister Trump later this week: "It is clear that Israel is an independent state, but under the circumstances of a friendly government, coordination and understanding with the US must be reached.".
The Jewish Home stated: "Minister Katz is running a campaign to replace Netanyahu, which includes establishing a headquarters and meticulous planning for his replacement, and is trying to launch the campaign with a personal attack against other ministers in the government.
""It would be better for him to get back to dealing with traffic jams on Highway 1 and accidents and not drag the Jewish Home into his personal battles against Netanyahu.".
