Opposition leader MK Yair Lapid hinted this morning (Tuesday) in a post he published on his X network account that he was responsible for laying the foundations for Operation Beeper - one of the most impressive intelligence operations in Israeli history, which stunned the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The post, written in response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's comments about the operation, drew criticism and ridicule from users, who claimed that Lapid was trying to take credit for himself that he did not deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The opposition chairman attacked the prime minister: "Netanyahu's talk about the pager operation is an unnecessary and irresponsible exposure of the Mossad's operational methods. For a quarter of a headline, Netanyahu is jeopardizing future intelligence.". <\/p>\n\n\n\n
