Miriam Yarimi, the 32-year-old driver of the car that ran over and killed Sarah Natasha Saada, 35, a Haredi from the Syrian community in Flatbush, and her two daughters - Deborah Mazal, 5, and Dina Bracha, 8, - on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon, was charged in a speeding case with three counts of second-degree murder, three counts of criminally negligent homicide, and several other charges related to speeding and failure to yield the right-of-way at a red light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The condition of the 4-year-old boy Rafael Pinchas, who was run over, is described as critical and he is hospitalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yarimi claims that "I was possessed.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But contrary to the driver's claim that she was "possessed," Jessica Tisch, the New York Police Department's chief of police, said: "This is an inexcusable incident. A person who was not supposed to be on the road took the lives of three innocent people.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
