The life of the Jewish people has never been peaceful and quiet. We have always gone through fluctuations, ups and downs. But the intensity of the upheavals we have been experiencing recently is already extraordinary even in the terms of the Jewish people. We fell into a dark and deep abyss on Simchat Torah last year, after a very deep rift within us, and from there we rose, united and set out to fight back against our enemies, until we reached the conclusion of the axis of evil that had drawn us out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even now we are experiencing a severe shock, as our best sons set out anew to fight the monsters of evil, who hold our precious sons with unfathomable cruelty. They understand well that only military pressure will force the enemy to release the kidnapped, but others stand on the other side and cry out that military pressure will endanger them, and that the only way to release them is to surrender to the enemy's demands and leave him on our southern border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And you ask yourself, where is all this going? Where will the irresponsible threats of exacerbating the rift lead us, after only a year and a half ago we saw and experienced the bitter result?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The journey is coming to an end.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Anyone who has flown in an airplane is familiar with the phenomenon that throughout the flight, at cruising altitude, the plane is fairly stable (except for air pockets here and there). But when we start to descend toward landing, the jolts begin, our ears fill up, our stomachs contract. And yet, we are happy, knowing that we will soon land and reach our destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe this is exactly what is happening to us at this time? The long journey of the people of Israel is approaching its destination. The footsteps of the Messiah are already being heard. The spiritual awakening that encompasses all strata of the people testifies that our soul indeed hears the "voice of my knocking uncle." And towards the 'landing', the vibrations and shakings are increasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Shabbat we read the Parshat of the Month, in preparation for the month of Nissan, the month of miracles. The holiday that we will soon celebrate is called Pesach, from the word pasihah and dilogul, and it expresses the power given to us to leap over the hurdles. God is likened on the holiday of Pesach to a deer that "leaps over the mountains, skips over the hills." This is how the redemption from Egypt came - a moment before the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, and the moment after that they were released to freedom. A moment before they were immersed in the gates of impurity, and the next moment they were already on their journey to Mount Sinai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Time to skip<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The month of Nissan gives us the ability to leap above the normal and routine order of things. Sometimes the way to make a change is by leaping and bounding. There are situations where we are required to jump into the water all at once, rather than wait for the slow ripening processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is usually good that things develop slowly, step by step, in a gradual process. However, this slow process also constrains us, and we do not always find the strength to break forward. This is exactly where the leap should come, which transports us all at once into a new reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The month of Nissan gives us the strength to make this leap. God helps each and every one of us to leap forward and to a higher spiritual level.
