The family of Captain Israel Yudkin, a Netzah Yehuda officer from Kfar Chabad, claim that although 10 months have passed since his death at the hands of a sniper in the northern Gaza Strip, they have not yet received the communication recordings from his final moments, including after his injury; his weapon; and an investigation into the incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Defense Ministry stated that the issue is the responsibility of the IDF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a public campaign led by his brother, Major Dovi Yudkin, the Defense Ministry relented - and for the first time, the option to write "Yad" on the tombstones in military cemeteries was approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
