Contrary to the atmosphere of despair that some are trying to instill in us, the fight against our enemies is progressing and achieving goal after goal. It was clear from the outset that this would not happen in a day or two, and patience and determination are required.<\/p>\r\n
Our soldiers give their lives and bravely fight the satanic human monsters who committed the atrocities on Simchat Torah, and all they ask of us is that our spirit also be strong and that we be united.<\/p>\r\n
It is worth remembering that Operation Defensive Shield in Judea and Samaria, conducted twenty-two years ago, lasted six weeks, and then there was no need to deal with a massive tunnel network and an organized army, as was the case in the Gaza Strip. The secret weapon<\/strong><\/p>\r\n For military and political activity to succeed, we need many prayers and blessings from heaven. It is time to bring 'unconventional' weapons into the battlefield. Now is the time to raise the slogan "Let the children win." The children of Israel have a special power to help the people of Israel, especially in times of need.<\/p>\r\n During the days of the Haman decree, when the Jewish people were in danger of extinction, Mordechai the Jew activated this "secret weapon." The Sages say that he gathered twenty-two thousand children and studied Torah with them. And when the hour of the decree approached, the children cried out to God, blessed be He, and thanks to it, "God, blessed be He, rose from the throne of judgment and sat on the throne of mercy.".<\/p>\r\n King David says in the Book of Psalms (8:3): \"From the mouths of infants and sucklings you have established strength\u2026 to restrain the enemy and the avenger.\" With the help of \"the mouths of infants and sucklings\" \u2013 the Torah and prayer of the children of Israel \u2013 'strength' was given to the people of Israel, and with its power to \"restrain the enemy and the avenger.\" An 'enemy' is an open enemy, while an 'avenger' is a hidden enemy, who disguises his malicious intentions. Both of these dangers are neutralized by the power of children.<\/p>\r\n This wonderful spiritual power must be concentrated on the day of virtue that is coming to us - Lag BaOmer. It is a righteous day, on which the merit of Rabbi Akiva and Rabbi Shimon Bar-Yochai protects the people of Israel. It is a day on which it is easier to achieve salvation and bring prayers before the throne of honor.<\/p>\r\n Therefore, on this day, it is of paramount importance for the children of Israel to gather together, "a place without sin," in the processions and gatherings of Lag BaOmer. This is not a colorful, fun event just for children. It is a spiritual strength that is necessary for all of us at this time.<\/p>\r\n A special effort is required.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Who can imagine the great spiritual relief that will be in the upper worlds in the face of the gathering of hundreds of thousands of children on the holy day of Lag BaOmer, when all of them as one accept the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven upon themselves, place their hands over their eyes and shake the air with the cry of "Shema Yisrael." Who can appreciate the immense spiritual contribution of the prayers and cries of the infants of Rabban's house, who ask for mercy for the people of Israel?.<\/p>\r\n This year, we must make a special effort to have all the children participate in the Lag BaOmer processions and gatherings, unite together in reciting Torah verses, praying, and giving charity.
