The headquarters of the "Magnen Avot v'Mahaut" reported today (Monday) a dramatic decrease in morbidity figures in the last three weeks in nursing homes - a decrease attributed to Netanyahu's vaccination campaign.<\/p>\r\nIn Israel, speeding is the norm: Why do we drive fast?<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\r\n

In the past week, 176 cases of infection among nursing home staff and 221 among residents were reported - five and a half times fewer than the figure recorded at the peak of the third wave of the disease in January.<\/p>\r\n

In addition to the sharp decrease in the rate of infections in nursing homes, a different and milder nature of the illness was also reported among the elderly who were infected.<\/p>\r\n

Yesterday, 2,331 new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in Israel. The rate of positive tests is 3.71%.<\/p>\r\n

The number of patients in serious condition hospitalized stands at 708, with 223 of them on ventilators.<\/p>\r\n
