Kerry arrived for an interview on Fox News, a network known for opposing the positions of Democratic Party leaders, and in the minutes before the interview, he spoke with his aide. He was unaware that the cameras, which were already running, were recording the conversation.<\/p>\r\n
The aide updated Kerry on the expansion of the ground operation in Gaza, and on the number of Palestinians killed in the attacks in the Shuja'iya neighborhood. Kerry responded cynically: "This is a piece of targeted action," and repeated: "A piece of targeted action, really.".<\/p>\r\n
Kerry added to his aide: "We have to go there. I think we should go there tonight. It would be crazy to just sit around like this.".<\/p>\r\n
