Almost every person with a brush and paint belonging to the ultra-Orthodox Jewish sector was required this week to return to the table and write creative condemnatory reflections. There is no zero, a rare event always requires renewed creative thinking and the use of words that are usually spoken only in Arabic. Dozens of actual and potential opinion leaders have issued statements condemning in every way the murder of the Arab boy by Jews \u2013 supposedly.<\/p>\r\n
Even a certain newspaper, which usually reserves its middle column for attacking other types of 'terrorists', blew its trumpet in a great blare of derision in condemning the murderers of the Arab boy. And indeed, the disavowal of a murder case is entirely justified. The Jewish people, which had devoutly preserved its title as the chosen people, as the merciful, the sons of the merciful, suddenly lost its exalted uniqueness.<\/p>\r\n
Go ask any resident anywhere in the world who they would rather walk next to late at night on a city street. Put a Jew in front of anyone else, and you will be surprised (or not) to discover that a Jew is perceived as an innocent person devoid of evil intentions. And now, after the shocking murder, our heads and bodies have bowed and our upright and firm stance is no longer there.<\/p>\r\n
Murder without the three conditions is not murder?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n But gentlemen, the main thing is missing from the book. With apologies to all those who denounce, and then a personal apology to all those who condemn and are shocked. Why do the condemnations only come with the following three pieces of information: the Arab murderer, the nationalist murderer, and the Haredi murderer?! And if we assume for a moment that one piece of information was missing, would the result be different? What would have happened if the murder had been criminal? "Three Haredi Jews burned an Arab boy to death after a fight over a glass of Coke" is a headline that deserves less condemnation? And if two pieces of information were missing? "A Jew murdered his friend after a fight over parking" would we still condemn? With our hand on our heart, what exactly is the condemnation for? For the murder? For the system? Or is it just a disavowal, that God forbid we were caught and included in the same group of lawbreakers??<\/p>\r\n It is appropriate and important to say: Murder is murder, whatever it is. If we had won, these corrupt murderers would be living in a generation where there is a Sanhedrin that judges "persecutors." But the festival of condemnations blows us a bit out of proportion. When the condemnation notice mentions the fact that the boy is Arab and his background is nationalist, there is an overly pungent smell of embellishment in the air.<\/p>\r\n Beyond the bad fact of the actual act of murder, these boys created a terrible situation of immense persecution against us Jews, but this part does not belong in the external condemnation messages. Its place is in the internal pages in the social discourse section.<\/p>\r\n All in all, some 'tough Spaniards''<\/strong><\/p>\r\n An educator told me this week, upon learning the identity of the (alleged) murderers, that it is our duty as a public and as a collective to come together and observe the commandment of a decapitated calf. And what are these things supposed to be? The identities of the despicable murderers have not yet been released, but one thing is known, they are all defined as 'dropouts' - unfortunate youth who were thrown out of educational settings and could not find peace for themselves. At the time, my interlocutor told me, we entered the home of the Grail Steinman, who expressed deep pain and sorrow that over ninety percent of the dropouts were worthy of continuing in the yeshiva and easily getting through the teenage crisis. But necessity, it turns out, outweighed the commandment of education, and the name of the yeshiva was more precious to its administrators than a few 'hard Sephardim' [by the way, there is an exclusivity for the head of a respected yeshiva in Jerusalem], and the way to the street was easier than ever.<\/p>\r\n Dozens of youths have been and continue to be thrown out of yeshivahs every year simply because of a lack of staff (not manpower). I can attest that in the conversations I have with such youths in my role, I often encounter young men who are soft-spoken and lack basic knowledge of 'criminal' concepts.<\/p>\r\n These boys are in the heart of the filth just because of a small crisis or even two that could have been resolved with the right attention at the right time. So maybe this is not the time or the right moment to slap the already beaten cheek from the outside, and maybe it is not appropriate to cry about the past. But one thing is certain: after all the condemnations and after all the beautiful and embellished words, we cannot really say "Our hands did not shed this blood." And no, it is not the blood of the Arab boy that is required here, the blood of the three murderers that has been spilled and will continue to be spilled like water and rightly so, is on the hands of the tired materialists from the management.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"If this had been the headline, would the sincere shock pouring from the pens of the Haredi publicists have been less sharp?
