According to a report on the Calcalist website, the beverage company Vitaminwater announced that it will pay $100,000 to anyone who can give up their cell phone for an entire year. Anyone who survives for just six months without their device will receive $10,000.<\/p>\r\n
To participate in the challenge, you need to post a photo on social media explaining why you need a break from your smartphone and what you will do with your free time. Posts should be eloquent, creative, and funny. They can be posted until January 8th.<\/p>\r\n
The competition rules make it clear that a smartphone is any phone that can connect to the internet and send messages. Also, during the year in question, it is forbidden to use someone else's tablet or smartphone.<\/p>\r\n
