There was a greater decrease in the number of casualties: in 2015, there were 25 casualties of varying degrees in accidents, compared to 44 casualties in 2014.<\/p>\r\n
However, as a city where approximately 651% of the residents are children and teenagers - they are still the most affected.<\/p>\r\n
A summary of recent years shows that the highest percentage of victims are children aged 5 to 14, accounting for approximately 30 percent of all victims.<\/p>\r\n
The data also shows that there has also been a decrease in travel outside the city of Elad: 103 residents were injured in 2014 in accidents that occurred outside the city. In 2015, the number dropped by about half - and stands at only 54.<\/p>\r\n
An analysis of the main implications of the accident and casualty data for the years 2012-2015, according to the National Authority, raises several points, including that there were no fatal accidents in Elad in the years 2012-2015.<\/p>\r\n
It was also found that the main type of accident is injury to pedestrians, and the main type of casualty is pedestrians.<\/p>\r\n
