Earlier this year, Kama-Tech launched the first cycle of its acceleration program, which included 6 companies, carefully selected from 224 companies that applied.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">Since his election, Friedman has also received praise from CEOs of major companies. There is no reason for young Haredi people to be at the bottom, on the margins, in low-level companies.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">Friedman founded the company &#039;Kama-Tech&#039;, with a number of prominent figures from the Israeli high-tech world, with the goal of meeting three objectives: placing thousands of ultra-Orthodox people with technological training in the leading high-tech companies in Israel in the high-tech world; providing technological training for young people who need improvement and advancement in the form of conferences and learning sessions with the &#039;big guys&#039; in the field; and helping ultra-Orthodox entrepreneurs by opening the door to investors and giant companies in Israel and around the world.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\"&quot;We recruited 35 Israeli high-tech companies, some of the leading ones, including Cisco, Google, Microsoft, IBM, and Verint, and to them we send our young Haredi people. So far, we have handled thousands of job offers,&quot; says Friedman, adding that he sees this as a mission: &quot;A man came to me with nine hungry children, and he said: I need a job. The man has technological training and after our intervention today he earns 22,000 shekels. This is the greatest charity, to provide a person with a livelihood.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">'&#039;Kama-Tech&#039; is a non-profit organization, but it has managed to interest secular companies: &quot;One of the well-known axioms at Kama-Tech,&quot; one of Friedman&#039;s team tells us, &quot;is that there is no company that says no to Moishe. The Haredi character remains. It is possible to remain a God-fearing Jew and succeed in high-tech.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\"&quot;One of the largest investors in the country, Gigi Levy, participated in the last Kama-Tech conference, and in summarizing his personal experience, he explained that his astonishment was not from the high level of human material, but from the fact that everyone remained completely ultra-Orthodox and true to their values \u200b\u200balongside the great success.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h5 dir=\"RTL\"><strong>Back to white shirts<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\"&quot;I tell our people: You are ambassadors of the Haredi public,&quot; Friedman explains. &quot;These things give them a sense of mission. At our conferences, I discovered that &#039;modern&#039; Haredi youth who started wearing colorful shirts have returned to white shirts and t-shirts on the outside. They feel a desire to belong to a Haredi community that does not compromise.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The Kama-Tech database contains over 4,000 ultra-Orthodox people with varying degrees of training who are seeking work. Apparently, there are more. &quot;They say that ultra-Orthodox people don&#039;t work, there are thousands who are looking, just give them work,&quot; says Friedman.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\u2022 Are there no Haredim who refuse to work in a mixed place?<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\"&quot;What we are trying to do is find good solutions. There are hundreds of high-tech companies in Israel. Some of the companies are willing to go towards the ultra-Orthodox and some are not. Even among the ultra-Orthodox, there are those who are interested in being more different, and some who are less bothered by this element.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\"&quot;We offer everyone the options and they choose according to their own path.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h5 dir=\"RTL\"><strong>It&#039;s easier for the ultra-Orthodox in the high-tech world.<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">The academic head that has mastered the issues of women&#039;s rights and torts, it turns out, is a distinct advantage in the high-tech world: &quot;In the high-tech world, it doesn&#039;t really matter what you studied, because everything will change in two days anyway. The leading companies are looking for people with the ability to learn and think, those who will be able to learn the new technologies, and the Haredim have this advantage.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">Friedman also points to an anthropological aspect: &quot;There are various companies that do not benefit from a developed entrepreneurial capacity. Without mentioning names specifically, there were figures on the list of the hundred most influential people who did not make it. It may even turn out that these are brilliant, genius people, but what they lack is the element of entrepreneurship, of innovation, of development \u2013 \u200b\u200bthinking inside and outside the box.
