Some of the photos reveal special details about the city&#039;s history, to the point of verifying the story of the nun from the Saint-Louis Hospital near the Notre Dame complex losing her teeth.<strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>In the days when the city was divided between Jordanian and Israeli rule.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">The story, for those interested, belongs to a nun who one day looked out of her room window across from the new gate. Suddenly she leaned forward a little and let out a short cough. Before she could react, her false teeth fell out of her mouth, straight into the no-man&#039;s land between Israel and Jordan. Then for the first and last time, in those 19 years that Jerusalem was divided, Israeli and Jordanian officers entered, along with a French officer from the UN Armistice Commission, just to pull out her teeth, not before all the people and representatives of all religions got involved in the affair.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">One of the group&#039;s members, Aviv Yitzhaki, who documented Jerusalem with his camera as a photographer from the 1970s to the late 1990s, uploaded a photo of the monastery. The group&#039;s director, Ami Shapira, responded after they wrote about the story, saying that he happened to know the policeman who entered the area. Simply because he is his father-in-law.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\u00a0This completes the circle.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">A few days ago, one of the group members uploaded a photo, taken by an unknown photographer, with the caption: &quot;Mahane Yehuda Market from the Casino de Paris Hotel.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">I know this name from a restaurant in the market.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">I decided to go look and see what it was all about, and try to document the market from that angle.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">After quite a bit of wandering, I found the roof from which the old photo was taken. Then I also discovered that despite what I thought there was nothing to see from up there, from Machane Yehuda you can see almost all of Jerusalem - spread out in the palm of your hand.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">I counted the pictures. If you are a true Jerusalemite, in heart and soul, you should recognize things in them that I was unable to recognize.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">Respond, write, and fill in the gaps for us.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-187213\" style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\" alt=\"\u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05e9\u05dc\u05d9\u05dd \u05e9\u05dc \u05de\u05e2\u05dc\u05d4  \u05de\u05e7\u05d6\u05d9\u05e0\u05d5 \u05d3\u05d4 \u05e4\u05e8\u05d9\u05d6\" src=\"http:\/\/p8503-170-25285.s170.upress.link\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/IMG_0497.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>1.
