Is this the slowest police chase in the world? Los Angeles police were filmed pursuing a green taxi in the south end of the city after it was reported hijacked.<\/p>\r\n
Surprisingly, the driver appears to be driving with irritating patience, without even trying to mislead the police cars that are following him.<\/p>\r\n
The taxi driver continued his calm and defiant ride, and when he reached railroad tracks over which a train was passing, he performed a U-turn as nonchalantly as if he were not under police surveillance.<\/p>\r\n
According to reports, the driver also received applause from passersby, and even stopped to chat with them for a bit.<\/p>\r\n
