The conversation revolved around the causes of the surprising increase, the differentiation that still exists between the perception of the institution of divorce between Haredi society and the general one, and the attitude towards single mothers in the sector. A sociological discussion.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">But then, at 10 o&#039;clock as mentioned, the cell phone rings, and on the line is the voice of a woman crying. &quot;Were you just interviewed on Channel 10?&quot; she asks. &quot;Yes,&quot; I replied with some trepidation.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\"&quot;So tell me, how do I get to Rabbi Firr? I need it urgently for my son.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">As I tried to extract fragments of information from the woman&#039;s chaotic stream of speech about her sick son and her many recent pains, an uplifting thought entered my mind. The woman, even if not completely sane, chose to call me, solely because of my ultra-Orthodox appearance, and on the assumption that I, as an ultra-Orthodox individual, could certainly help her in any way I could, or at the very least, refer her to the relevant authorities.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is undoubtedly an encouraging insight. It created a collective self-aggrandizement in me, and the ultra-Orthodox group to which I belong was perceived by me as better, more altruistic, and more reciprocating than the secular one, which lacks compassion, kindness, and caring.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">But then I remembered the not-so-small group of yeshiva heads and seminary directors dressed in the robes of the rabbis we all admire, who abuse Mizrahi children and children who seek to study in their institutions, solely because of their ethnic origin, and the feeling of elation that filled me vanished forever.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Don&#039;t eat them.<\/strong>.The painful ricochets coming from the direction of radical Hasidism, the Satmar, could not have surprised anyone. Everyone, it seems, has already become accustomed to the blunt, blunt style that seeks to shun the world surrounding the Haredi street, as if the people who live there live on a separate planet, and do not interact daily with the other marginal figures living in the country, such as doctors, surgeons, policemen, firefighters, combat patrol soldiers, and Zionist ambulance drivers.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">And yet, it seems that even this extreme Hasidism has managed to cross the lines that were until now perceived as being hidden somewhere on the edge of the horizon: They have begun to attack the people of the Lithuanian sector and to pass sharp criticism on their Torah gurus. News websites reported that Satmar said in the most open way that the main culprits for the harsh decrees are not necessarily the Lapid-Bennett government, but the Haredim themselves who are collaborating with the Zionist entity. Rabbi Steinman received a reprimand for his quiet support for the Haredi Nahal about ten years ago, and even the Lithuanian schism is receiving criticism mixed with cynical sarcasm: &quot;In the most difficult time for Haredi Judaism since the Holocaust, do we have nothing to fight about, only about nonsense like who will form a party, who will be the leader? You can fight about that in a prison cell.&quot;.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the &#039;Satmars&#039; themselves, there is no ability to argue or create any kind of sane dialogue. The frenzied demonstrations backed by handcuffs, spitting, tit-for-tat, and chants of &#039;Nazis&#039; are probably the limit of their verbal ability.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">What surprises, every time, is the strange absorption capacity of the Lithuanian group. The members of this group, famous for their brutal efficiency [see the events of N. Grossman, P. Hovav, Yated Ne&#039;eman, Hapeles, and Gra Yosef] accept the reprimands of the Hasidim from abroad calmly, bow their heads, and immediately run to purchase more products, making sure that the label states that the &quot;Badatz Adah Haredi&quot; kosher certificate appears, which, for those who don&#039;t know, charges huge sums from food companies.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The monster of the &#039;Urdu community&#039; is fattening up from the money of the Israeli Haredim, becoming a small economic powerhouse, and thus, in a fascinating circular motion, continues to demean and humiliate the Israeli Haredim, while in return they appear on food chains and ask only for fresh, luxurious chicken from the Haredim for only twenty-five shekels per kilo, not including cutting it into schnitzels.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Reading against the direction of the text&#039;s bristles<\/strong>. In these days of musiclessness, we can perhaps pose the following question to the music lovers among us: Why do Hasidic singers sing such long songs? How is it that a song consisting of a single verse of text and a melodious chorus usually lasts more than five minutes?
