On the orders of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, the IDF attacked Hezbollah terror targets in the Dahiyya neighborhood of Beirut at noon (Sunday) - in response to the ongoing firing towards northern communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack included dropping 10 munitions on one headquarters inside a building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two fighter jets participated in the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A joint statement from the Prime Minister's Office and the Defense Minister's Office stated: "In accordance with the directives of Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz, the IDF has now attacked terrorist headquarters in the Hadahiya neighborhood of Beirut, in response to Hezbollah's firing into Israeli territory.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Saudi Al-Hadath channel reported from its sources that Israel informed the United States in advance about the attack on Dahiyya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel confirms that the target of the attack in Dahiyya was the Hezbollah headquarters. Before the confirmation in Israel, sources told the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel that the target of the attack in Dahiyya, Beirut, was two buildings and not against any figures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sources also said that the headquarters that was attacked contained a planning center for attacks on Israeli areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning, for the first time since Washington announced a "ceasefire" in Lebanon, Hezbollah launched rockets into Israeli territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 7:50 a.m., alarms sounded in Metula and Misgav Am, and about 40 minutes later in Ramot Naftali and Yifetz. After the second series of alarms, the IDF announced that two launches that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory had been intercepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Azoulay, head of the Metula council, welcomed the attack: "Finally, it's happening. This attack should have been carried out a long time ago, but better late than never. I have every hope that Israel is now dictating a new equation in which all of Lebanon's territories will burn the moment a shot is fired at Israel - and it doesn't matter whether the shot is fired at Metula, Shtula, Nahariya, Haifa or Tel Aviv. The goal must be defined: disarming Hezbollah and bringing peace to the northern border.". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran is threatening to respond to the Israeli attack on Beirut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spokesman for the National Security Committee in the Iranian parliament, Ebrahim Rezaei, wrote on the X network that Iran will respond "firmly and painfully" to the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rezaei added: "This foolish dog must be educated and put back in its place.
