The Director of the Tax Authority, Shai Aharonovitz, announced today (Thursday) the selection of Natalie Navon to the position of Senior Director of the Communications and Public Relations Department at the Tax Authority. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Navon has over a decade of experience in the fields of public speaking, communications, and management in the public sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Navon, who in recent years managed the Senior Spokespersons and Communications Division at the Ministry of Housing, will replace, effective January 1, 2027, Idit Lev Zarchia, who is retiring from her position as Director of the Senior Spokespersons and Communications Division and from the civil service after 35 years of service, including serving as spokesperson for the Israel Tax Authority since its establishment, about 22 years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, Lev-Zerakhia served as the spokesperson for Customs and VAT for 13 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During her tenure, she led\u00a0Idit Lev-Zerakhia<\/strong>\u00a0The Authority's branding, outreach and communication processes, with the aim of establishing its status as a professional, innovative, accessible and service-oriented authority, alongside being the country's central enforcement authority. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Within this framework, large-scale public and media campaigns were conducted in the areas of taxation, enforcement, exercise of rights, and service to citizens, and digital media channels and social networks were developed and expanded.
