Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published this evening (Sunday) the full opinion of the chairman of the Advisory Committee for Appointments to Senior Positions, retired Supreme Court President Prof. Asher Grunis, who opposes the appointment of Major General Roman Gofman as head of the Mossad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The opinion states that although the other committee members found no fault with the appointment, in Grunis' opinion there was a flaw in the candidate's moral integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mossad head Dedi Barnea testified before the Grunis Committee and addressed in detail the conduct of Major General Roman Gofman and his ability to serve in senior positions in the defense establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
