The transactions are led by the Deputy Chief of the Air and Sea Procurement Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The production of the air weapons will be carried out at Elbit factories across the country, which employ thousands of workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Defense Minister Israel Katz: "We continue to strengthen the State of Israel's armament independence. The IDF must have the means at all times to act forcefully, quickly, and without dependence on external factors. In the days when we celebrate the 78th Independence Day, this has special significance. True independence is also measured by the ability to produce and defend ourselves on our own. We will continue to act with determination to ensure that the State of Israel relies on its strength and is ready for any challenge.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
