A 17-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man were seriously injured this evening (Thursday) in the Karmiel area during the latest barrage to the north. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The young man is a motorcyclist, a courier for the Volt company, who did not have time to reach a protected area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The medical teams called to the scene found the young man suffering from severe penetrating injuries from shrapnel, concentrated in the head area and one of his legs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MDA paramedic Maor Barko said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man about 25 years old lying on the floor, unconscious and suffering from serious injuries to his body after being injured by interception fragments. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in serious condition.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Half an hour later, a 40-year-old man was injured by a missile in Nahariya. He was taken to the hospital in moderate condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total, over 20 launches were detected towards Nahariya and Karmiel in the last barrage, while at the same time a number of unmanned aerial vehicles were launched, some of which were intercepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fire and rescue services reported vehicle fires as a result of falls in Nahariya. Fire and rescue teams are working in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
