With the exception of Yaakov Wider, a member of the city council, who strongly opposed the proposal, refused to vote and demanded that the legal advisor recommend removing the proposal from the agenda on the grounds that it was illegal, all council members supported the unusual proposal, which does not exist in any city in Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
