Menachem, the brother of Israeli hero Elchanan Clemenzon, who fell on October 7 at Kibbutz Be'ere, shared a chilling story last night (Monday) about his grandfather, Moshe, who arrived in the Land of Israel alone from Poland shortly before the outbreak of the war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\""Grandpa Moshe immigrated to Israel alone from Poland, shortly before the outbreak of the Holocaust. Grandpa came from a family of seven brothers and sisters. He left behind a father and mother, grandparents, uncles and aunts, and many cousins. Grandpa immigrated out of Zionism, started a family in Israel, and was in the Haganah and the IDF.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Grandpa was always looking for someone who might have survived the flames. Every day he would turn on the radio to listen to the section for searching for relatives, maybe someone would rise from the ashes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
