\""Slavery is not always an external condition. Sometimes it begins precisely in a place that no one but us sees: in consciousness. In the way we think, feel, and react. In the way in which, slowly and gradually, a person stops experiencing themselves as choosing and begins to act primarily out of survival.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All it takes is a cumulative sequence of tense days, fragmented sleep, disturbing news, and emotional overload for the internal system to change. The brain and mind invest less energy in creativity, curiosity, and calm presence, and more in identifying risks, alertness, and rapid response, in an attempt to maintain complete control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the outside it is not always visible. A person can continue to work, take care of children, cook and carry an entire household on their shoulders. But inside something is reduced. Patience is shortened, thinking becomes more rigid, it is harder to breathe and it is harder to have fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of living, man begins to manage danger. The question that organizes his day is no longer "What is right for me?", but "How do I get through the day peacefully?" And when this question becomes the constant language of the soul, it affects almost every area of \u200b\u200blife, including eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people find themselves eating more quickly, almost without noticing why or how much. Others turn to automatic snacking for a brief moment of relief. Some actually lose their appetite, postpone meals, or simply forget to eat. Sometimes they also experience increased cravings for sweets, ready-to-eat carbohydrates, coffee, or anything that provides an immediate sense of comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The body and mind are under stress, and therefore seek rapid regulation, and thus a subtle but persistent cycle is created: stress increases unconscious or disordered eating, while this eating may increase feelings of heaviness, fatigue, and sometimes also guilt or lack of control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the internal language also changes. Less "I want," "I choose," "What will do me good?" and more "I don't have the strength," "It doesn't matter," "Just get through the evening.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a person speaks to himself over time in the language of coercion, concession, and lack of choice, he begins to feel less and less free on the inside. Perhaps this is one of the reasons that Passover touches so many people, even beyond tradition. Because it does not just tell of a departure from one place to another, but of a deeper transition: from contraction to space, from automaton to choice, from survival to the possibility of breathing the breath of a free person.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meisler offers small, simple steps that can restore a sense of balance and stability even during busy or stressful times:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Make sure to eat regular meals throughout the day.<\/strong> - Even when your schedule is busy or unstable, more organized meals can help your body maintain balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            2. Avoid skipping meals<\/strong> - Many hours without eating can lead to extreme hunger and unconscious eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            3. Choose foods that provide stable energy <\/strong>- Incorporate protein, fiber, and sufficient water into your meals, which help you feel fuller for longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            4. Reduce unnecessary load <\/strong>- Both mentally and nutritionally. Sometimes simplicity is exactly what the body needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            5. Pay attention to your inner language <\/strong>- and gradually replace language of coercion ("Do I have to?") with questions of choice: What are my best options right now? From my usual routine, can I maintain it now? What will help me feel a little more stable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is expressed in the ability to distinguish between physical hunger and emotional hunger, to eat with attention, and to remember that even during a busy and challenging period, we still have a
