Singer and songwriter Yishai Ribo has released a new song - 'The Soul Is Not Meta', which he wrote and composed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time as the song's release, Ribo announced that he would freeze his activity on social media for a period of forty days and forty nights, starting from the first of the month of Adar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the decision was made on his birthday, after a long period of hesitation regarding the world of social networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Already in the title of the song, "The Soul Is Not Meta," Ribo uses a double play on words: he refers to the Hebrew word "dead" (the soul is eternal) and at the same time to the technological brand "Meta" (Facebook\/Instagram), which represents the virtual world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This mix creates a kind of indifference in us.
Which makes it very difficult to bring about real change.
And I don't want to continue this system automatically.

But this mechanism sucks

I made a resolution for the New Year.
