So which city has the most childless couples - and which city leads in the number of children? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 In 2024, there were in Israel\u00a0Approximately 2.33 million families<\/strong>, compared to about 1.99 million in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 The average Israeli family includes\u00a03.71 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Living in a family setting is the most common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 The most common family type in Israel was a couple with children, the youngest of whom was up to 17 years old (about 47%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Percentage of couples without children<\/strong>\u00a0In Jewish families (about 29%) the percentage is higher than in Arab families (about 12%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Approximately 3.03 million children up to the age of 17 lived in families. Most of them lived with both parents (approximately 921,000), and the rest lived with only one parent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Approximately 11% of all families with children up to the age of 17 are single-parent families (approximately 138 thousand). Approximately 82% of these families are headed by a woman.
