As part of the Gannon Group's expansion, the group acquired control of the Zol Stock chain from Yochananoff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
''Zol Stock' was established in 2013 and is currently experiencing rapid growth. Today, the chain has approximately 90 branches nationwide, and its annual sales turnover is estimated at approximately half a billion shekels. At the same time, the group is currently completing the construction of a new, advanced logistics center alongside an innovative and spacious retail complex in Beit She'an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
'Gannon Group plans to double the number of branches of Zol Stock in the coming years and prepare the company for an initial public offering (IPO). In addition, the group is examining additional steps to acquire retail chains and synergies, including the continued development of the new urban bookstore chain, Shai Market, which the group established over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CPA David Saban brings with him over 20 years of experience in senior management positions at IKEA, Delek, Migdal and Fritz (a FedEx franchise), where he led processes for improving companies, mergers and acquisitions, raising capital and turnarounds of large business systems. Saban holds a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting and economics, is a graduate of advanced management programs at Harvard Business School, and specializes in the strategic and financial management of growth companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his new role, Saban will lead the development of the retail division, the establishment of an advanced management-financial infrastructure, and overall preparations for the planned IPO of 'Zol Stock' on the capital market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
