Hundreds of people from all over the country came to visit the renewed settlement of Sha-Nur today (Friday), which was uprooted during the disengagement and it was decided to re-establish it after a years-long struggle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visit took place at the initiative of the Sha-Nur nucleus and with the assistance of the Samaria Regional Council, as part of the preparations for re-establishing the settlement and recruiting families to join the renewed family nucleus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tour participants arrived in private vehicles to the settlement of Homesh, which was destroyed in the disengagement plan and rebuilt, and departed by bus to the settlement of Sha-Nur, at a coordinated entrance that takes place every few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event included a tour of the destroyed settlement guided by Netanel Shilo - one of the deportees of the Five Days, and a conversation with Benny Katzover, one of the founders of the settlement in Judea and Samaria and the leaders of Gush Emunim and the head of the Mythological Samaria Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Council, himself expelled from Sha'anur, said: "I am really excited to be here with you - with the families of the core and with all the guests who joined. We are in a historic time. Out of the difficult Holocaust clash of October 7, the revival was created - a victorious people of Israel. God promised us two thousand years ago that we would win, and we are privileged to see it here, in this place.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dagan added: "It is very symbolic that we are here the day after the October 7th Memorial Day, specifically in Sha-Nur. Because the correction begins here \u2013 with the return of the settlement. We, as part of all of Israel, messed up 20 years ago, when we allowed the displacement and hijacked the Holocaust of October 7th, and together with all of Israel and the State of Israel, we are now correcting that crime.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The settlements of Ganim and Kid are awaiting a government decision, and the Sha-Nur nucleus here will also come up in the coming months. Dagan thanked Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich: "I would like to thank Finance Minister Smotrich for this important event here, who pushed in an inspiring way to repeal the disengagement law in northern Samaria, and led to the government's decision to recognize the settlements of Homesh and Sha-Nur, and with God's help, soon Ganim and Kedim." The head of the council also thanked Akiva Smotrich and Ephraim Mann, who are coordinating the core. Dagan especially wanted to thank the IDF and Border Guard soldiers who secured the immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Benny Katsover, one of the founders of Gush Emunim and the settlement leaders, who was the head of the first Samaria Council, said: "It is extremely important that the general public renew their activity to return to Sha-Nur, because only activity from below will bring about the awakening required from above - to the ministers of state and those who make decisions in the country. Therefore, congratulations to all those who came, and I call on many others to join in any action that is taken regarding Sha-Nur, because this is what will truly enable the opening of the path to Sha-Nur. There is no other way, except awakening from below.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nitai Shilo, one of the deportees of Homesh and an IDF soldier who returned from the front in Gaza, told the participants about the history of the place from biblical times to the present day.
