Against the backdrop of the conscription law crisis: Data from a News 14 poll conducted by Shlomo Filber and published this evening (Thursday) in the main edition of Channel 14 shows that if the elections were held today, the Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would receive 34 seats, one seat less than the previous poll.
Following the Likud is the Democrats party led by Yair Golan, which receives 16 seats, the same as last week. The Yisrael Beiteinu party has 15 seats, a decrease of one seat from the previous poll.
According to the survey, Shas with 10 seats, as in the previous survey. Yesh Atid party - 9 seats, an increase of one seat from last week. United Torah Judaism remains at 8 seats. Benny Gantz's Blue and White party increases in seats, to 6 seats.
More from the coalition parties: Otzma Yehudit maintains its strength with 6 seats, and Religious Zionism, led by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, receives 5 seats, maintaining its strength.
In terms of the Arab parties – the Ra'am party with 6 seats, like last week, and the Hadash-Ta'al party with 5 seats, also like last week. The Balad party continues to fail to pass the threshold and will stand at 2.61% of the total votes, an increase of 0.31% from last week.
Division into blocs: Right-wing bloc with 63 seats, one less than the previous week. Left-wing parties - 46 seats, in addition to 11 seats from the Arab parties.
Including the 'Bennett 2026' party
This week, a survey also examined the mandate picture if the 'Bennett 2026' party were to run for the Knesset.
In such a scenario, the Likud with 33 seats, one seat less than last week. Next is Bennett's party, which plunges by two seats from last week to 16 seats. The 'Democrats' party - 13 seats, similar to last week. Next is Shas with 11 seats, one more than the previous week.
In such a scenario, United Torah Judaism will receive 8 seats, like last week. Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu party drops one seat to 8 seats. Otzma Yehudit with 6 seats. Yesh Atid with 6 seats. Blue and White passes the threshold this time, unlike last week, and receives 4 seats. Religious Zionism drops one seat to 4.
In terms of the Arab parties: Ra'am Party - 6 seats, similar to last week, and Hadash Ta'al remains stable at 5 seats. Balad with 2.5%, an increase of 0.1% from last week.
Divided into blocs: If Bennett runs, the coalition parties will have 62 seats, one seat less than last week, while the opposition parties will have 47 Knesset members, in addition to 11 seats from the Arab parties.
Suitability for the Prime Ministership
When examining who is most suitable to serve as Prime Minister among all the candidates, 49% of those surveyed prefer Benjamin Netanyahu, 26% chose Naftali Bennett, who continues to be the leading candidate after Netanyahu, 13% prefer Gadi Eisenkot, 5% prefer Yair Lapid, 4% prefer Avigdor Lieberman, and 3% prefer Benny Gantz.
