Avner Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is joining the world of investments and venture capital.

Netanyahu was appointed Senior Associate as part of a new venture initiated by the Group 11 investment fund.

The venture - The Umbrella Corporation - is a new security investment arm of the fund, which operates in Israeli-American cooperation and focuses on investments in technological and security fields.

The venture is led by Dovi Frances, one of the founders of Group 11, who is considered one of the most prominent names in the venture capital field in Israel and the United States. He is also known for his appearances on the television show "Sharks" on Keshet 12.

According to a report on Channel 7, Netanyahu is also joined by Idan Keinan, who has already worked within the foundation in the past, and among other things, served in various positions in the Prime Minister's Office.

Frances congratulated the two on their joining and wrote on his LinkedIn page: "Welcome Avner Netanyahu and Idan Keinan to the Group 11 family."

The entry of the young Netanyahu, who previously won third place in the Bible quiz, into the world of investments is generating a lot of interest - not because of the new role, but mainly because of his family background. Given his lack of experience in entrepreneurship or venture capital, there is no doubt that this is an intriguing move.

Avner Netanyahu was supposed to get married last month, but three days before the wedding date, Operation 'With a Dog' was launched, and the wedding was postponed.
