Throughout a week of policy meetings in London, Kobi Gabriel - a prominent public activist and politician in the Israeli political arena - delivered a clear message to British officials: Israel will not succumb to international pressure, and will not apologize for its right to protect its citizens.

The visit included an impressive series of policy meetings with members of parliament, representatives of the Foreign Office, senior members of the Foreign and Security Committee, diplomats, Lords, government officials, philanthropists and heads of Jewish communities from across the kingdom.

The focus of the talks was on issues of security, international legitimacy, and Israel-UK relations against the backdrop of current geopolitical events.

“Israel is in a struggle not only for its physical security, but also for its legitimacy in the international arena,” Gabriel said. “The world needs to hear a clear, moral and determined voice – and we will make sure it is heard.”

Alongside his direct political engagement, Gabriel noted that since the beginning of the Iron Swords War, he has hosted delegations from around the world - including British dignitaries - with the aim of connecting international public opinion to reality on the ground. 'There is a huge difference between a headline and testimony from the field. When you show them reality with your own eyes - consciousness changes,' he explains.

An unusual moment during the visit was a private tour of Windsor Castle, the historic stronghold of the British royal family.

Gabriel visited the chamber where Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, are buried - an experience he described as "moving and thought-provoking about leadership, tradition, and historical memory.""

At the end of the visit, Gabriel returned to Israel with a renewed sense of mission: to continue to represent the voice of Israel with pride, and to build bridges of truth, not of comfort.

“The alliances that really matter are not tested in convenient times – but in challenging times. I believe in dialogue based on shared values, not mutual silencing. Israel stands firm, and its voice is heard in London – and beyond.”
