It is suspected that the driver warned the two boys after they were smoking on the bus. The two did not really connect with his comment, and in response, they cursed him and threw stones at the bus.
Detectives and municipal police officers in Elad launched accelerated searches, ultimately revealing the identities of the two boys - residents of Petah Tikva and Elad, both 15 years old - and arrested them this morning.
At the same time, station investigators are investigating the suspicion that the two are involved in additional attacks on bus drivers in the area.
At the end of their interrogation, a decision will be made whether to bring them to a hearing in the Juvenile Court in order to request an extension of their detention.
