Developments in the Chaim Rotter affair: The chairman of the "Guardians" organization in Bnei Brak, suspected of committing serious crimes against minors over the years, linked himself to some of the complainants in the investigation - but denied that it was an assault.
According to a report by Lee Ayish on the i24NEWS channel, Rotter claimed, during an investigation that took place today (Tuesday) at the Dan Region Police Department, that the complainants "were over the age of 16 and everything was consensual.".
In addition, he denies any connection to another part of the cases.
It was also reported that among those arrested earlier this week was Rutter's wife. She was questioned with a warning and released to house arrest under restrictive conditions.
According to a report last night in 'Kan News', the special investigation team established in the Dan region has already received more than 10 complaints in the affair that is stirring up the Haredi public.
The aid organization 'Magen' continues to support some of the victims and would like to remind everyone that every victim is entitled to free legal assistance from legal aid, starting from the stage of filing the complaint. "It is important to approach the complaint and receive support throughout the process. We are here to help," the organization said.
Rotter was arrested last Wednesday at Ben Gurion Airport, after landing in Israel on a flight from Poland. His detention was extended until Thursday of this week.
