This morning, the judges of the Jerusalem District Court rejected the request of the Prime Minister's defense attorney, Attorney Amit Hadad, to postpone the evidentiary hearings in Netanyahu's trial, which were scheduled for next week, due to a shoulder injury he is suffering from. The judges summed up their remarks briefly: "Attorney Hadad's office, there are additional lawyers who appear in this case, and therefore there is no justification for canceling the hearings. Get well soon to Attorney Hadad."
This caused a public uproar, after only a short time ago the judges canceled hearings due to the weakness of the prosecutor from the prosecution's mandate (a team of 24 prosecutors).
A short time ago, the judges reconsidered and accepted Attorney Haddad's request to postpone the testimony. In their ruling, the judges wrote: "Following today's decision, and in light of what is stated in the current request, the hearings scheduled for Monday and Tuesday will be canceled. MK Saada's testimony will be heard on Wednesday."
