Defense Minister Yisrael Katz posted a tweet on his personal account on the X network this morning (Monday), in which he called on all "Jews" to cease criticizing the operation against Iran.
Katz wrote: "To all the Hebrews, who didn't know, didn't know and didn't do it - take some good advice: Sometimes it's better to simply greet and say congratulations.".
Katz added that the plan for the return of Air Force planes to Tehran's skies, which changed the face of the campaign, was only prepared in recent months.
According to Katz, "'Stand in Tehran,' the groundbreaking plan for the return of Air Force aircraft to the skies of Tehran, was carefully prepared over the past few months by the IDF, in accordance with the guidance of the political echelon, and changed the face of the campaign.".
It is possible that the Defense Minister's unusual tweet is, among other things, a response to Naftali Bennett's interview on the "Meet the Press" program on Channel 12, in which he said that Israel's successful attacks on Iran in Operation "With a Dog" were successful thanks to the government led by him and Yair Lapid in 2021: "Without our actions in 2021, it would not have been possible to give the order in 2025.".
Bennett's words were widely ridiculed on social media.
