
Central District police arrested a Rosh HaAyin resident on suspicion of peeking into women's restrooms in a commercial center in the ultra-Orthodox city of Elad - and an indictment will be filed against him in the coming days.
The arrest was made after Rosh Ha'ayin police officers began searching after receiving a report of a man in the women's restroom at a shopping center in Elad.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, a Rosh HaAyin resident in his 30s, arrived at the scene and entered the women's restroom. One of the women who entered recognized him as he was trying to peek into the adjacent stall, which was empty - and called for help.
Rosh HaAyin police officers who arrived at the scene arrested the suspect, and during his interrogation he even threatened the investigators, while committing an indecent act himself.
The suspect's detention was extended in accordance with the terms of the investigation conducted by Rosh HaAyin police investigators, and at the conclusion of his investigation, an indictment will be filed against him in the coming days for the charges attributed to him.
