Zvi Yehezkeli, the Arab affairs commentator for the i24news channel, says that while Israel would have liked to continue operating in Iran, it has achieved extraordinary achievements in Operation 'Am Kalavi'.

Yehezkeli: "The achievement is historic to the extent that we haven't seen a military operation like this in the last hundred years. Israel did the unbelievable. But we had our own desires - we wanted the regime to fall and we didn't deal a strong enough blow to the symbols of the regime.".

He emphasized that "it would certainly have been better if Israel had continued on and perhaps softened the government in the eyes of the protesters and the overthrow of the government would have occurred.".

He said, "Iran is currently a wounded and defeated animal that will do anything to arm itself, return to the arena and reorganize the nuclear program. It's true that they have retreated, but they are currently more vengeful, Khamenei remains alive and this regime is starting from scratch. This is unfortunate. We couldn't leave with all our desires in our hands, but we must remember that the story is not over yet.".

Ben Gvir: 'Thank God for it is good''

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was a guest on the "Patriots" program on Channel 14 last night, and addressed the government decisions that led to the end of the operation.

First, Ben Gvir spoke about the consultations in the cabinet that led to the end of the war: "Of course, there was consultation on what to do, and everyone expressed their opinion, there was an orderly discussion. I am proud of that, and I am proud that we have a prime minister. I was here, and I attacked him more than once, but I am proud of these moves.

""Thank God, because in the end, Bibi and Yisrael Katz and the Chief of Staff and Ben Gvir, and everyone – there is a Creator," said the minister. "We saw how these things, a puzzle, like in the Book of Esther – suddenly another thing comes together, another thing comes together, another thing comes together, another thing comes together. It's just a Creator.".

Afterwards, in response to a question from presenter Yinon Magal, Ben Gvir said that he thought it was right to act differently, and not end the war: "I think we needed a few more days. I do think we could have taken another goal of overthrowing the regime. In my opinion, it was possible to wage this war for a few more days. But in the end, in the end - thank God that it is good.".
