Defense Minister Yisrael Katz arrived today (Thursday) at the scene of the Iranian missile strike in the city of Holon, where dozens of civilians were injured, four of them seriously.
During his visit to the scene, Katz issued a direct threat to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
""A dictator like Khamenei cannot continue to exist," said Katz. "Khamenei directly gives orders to fire into the Israeli rear. He is a modern Hitler. He uses resources at the expense of his own people for the purpose of destroying Israel.".
Earlier this morning, Katz addressed the Iranian missile attack and sharply attacked Ali Khamenei. "The cowardly Iranian dictator sits in the depths of the protected bunker and fires targeted shots at hospitals and residential buildings in Israel," Katz said. "These are war crimes of the most serious kind - and Khamenei will be held accountable for his crimes.".
He said, "The Prime Minister and I have instructed the IDF to increase the intensity of attacks against strategic targets in Iran and against government targets in Tehran, in order to remove threats from the State of Israel and undermine the ayatollahs' regime.".
Minister Gila Gamliel also said today in an interview with Channel 14 presenter Yaara Zard: "Anyone who harms the State of Israel is potentially mortal - and so is Khamenei.".
