Following the launch of Operation 'Am Kalavi' against Iran: The IDF Spokesperson's Unit will be reinforced with reservists.
Among the new recruits: Daniel Hegary, who returned to assist at the request of IDF spokesman Brigadier General Efi Dufferin - three months after he retired.
Today, according to a report by David Wertheim in Walla, in the midst of the war with Iran, the 48-year-old Hagari was called back - not to the role of chief spokesman, but as assistant to the current spokesman, Brigadier General Efi Dufferin, and to the commander of the situation room.
This is a move reminiscent of the return of Ronen Manelis, who previously headed the spokespeople, and who also returned to assist in the days after October 7.
The IDF Spokesperson's Office stated: "Daniel Hagari is assisting the IDF Spokesperson's Office, as are many reservists who were called up following the opening of the operation at the request of the IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Efi Dufferin.".
