Sergeant Yoav Rever, 1st Lt., from Warburg Field, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip while fulfilling his duty as a fighter in the Yahalam unit of the Combat Engineering Corps.
19 years old in Naples.
Yoav is the son of Lior and Gili Rever and brother of Tamar and Omri, a graduate of the Ami Assaf Educational Center.
The South Sharon Regional Council issued a statement of mourning:
""With great sadness and deep pain, we received the bitter news of his death. Our hearts are broken. The family of the South Sharon Regional Council bows its head and shares in the heavy mourning of all the sons and daughters of his family, the Sde Warburg community and the Ami Assaf Educational Center community at this unbearably difficult time. May Yoav Baruch's memory be blessed forever.".
