The covenant was made by his grandfather, Hanoch Gaz, the father of Hananel Gaz.

Ravid Chaim was born by emergency delivery after his mother, Tsala Gaz, was murdered in a terrorist attack near the town of Baruchin two weeks ago, while she was on her way to the hospital to give birth to him.

Due to his serious medical condition since birth, it was not possible to circumcise him in time.

Upon his passing this morning, the wedding ceremony was performed by his grandfather, who came especially to Israel for the birth - but due to the attack, remained in Israel to accompany the family.

During the shiva, a rare ceremony was held to name the baby, even though he was not circumcised, due to his serious medical condition.

The name given to the baby: Ravid Chaim, the name chosen by Tsala before she was murdered. After the name was read, those present sang: "A song of ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come?"

He was laid to rest at 4:00 PM on Mount Hamunehot in Jerusalem, where he will be buried next to his mother, Tsala.
