The IDF later reported that the missile was successfully intercepted.

On Thursday night, around 3:00 AM, alarms were activated across the country following a missile launch from Yemen - and millions of Israelis entered protected areas in the center of the country. The missile was successfully intercepted by the Arrow system.

Hours later, following another launch, alarms were activated in the Jerusalem and Dead Sea areas.

Since October 7, the Houthis have been launching ballistic missiles into the country without stopping - 381 ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles have been launched towards the State of Israel. Since the resumption of fighting in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis have launched 44 ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The assessment in the defense establishment is that as the fighting in the Gaza Strip continues, so will the Houthi launches from Yemen into Israel.
