IDF engineering forces and fighters operated last night (Friday night) in the village of Brokin to map the homes of terrorists Maher Samara and Jamil Samara.

The two terrorists helped terrorist Nael Samara carry out the shooting attack near Baruchin last week, in which Tsala Gaz was murdered and her husband Hananel was injured.
The mapping was carried out in preparation for examining the possibility of demolishing the terrorists' homes.
Earlier this week, the IDF confirmed that IDF forces had eliminated the terrorist who carried out the attack near Baruchin. Two additional suspects were arrested for questioning by the Shin Bet.
The assassination occurred during a chase and targeted searches by IDF fighters, directed by the Shin Bet, last Saturday in the village of Brokin, located near the scene of the attack. The terrorist ran toward the forces while holding a bag suspected of being a booby trap and shouted slogans at them in Arabic. Faced with the immediate threat, the fighters eliminated the terrorist, without any casualties.
Following an intelligence investigation by the Shin Bet, the IDF, and the Shi'ite District of the police, it was revealed that Nael Samara, the terrorist who was eliminated, was the one who carried out the shooting attack near the settlement of Rochin in which Tsala Gaz was murdered.
This is a terrorist who previously served a prison sentence for his activities in the Hamas terrorist organization, was released in 2010 and imprisoned again for several days in 2019 for incitement online.
An M16 rifle and other weapons used in the attack were found in the bag carried by the terrorist. Investigators from the Shi'ite District of the police collected the findings in order to locate additional accomplices.
As part of the Shin Bet investigation, IDF forces arrested several additional suspects on suspicion of involvement in the attack, including the head of the cell,
