Suspected stabbing attack: A 36-year-old man was seriously injured this evening (Sunday) by stabbings on Gaon Street in Pardes Hanna.
Rescue forces called to the scene provided him with initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera.
The initial investigation indicates that the seriously injured man was stabbed in the back by an unknown person who fled the scene.
An emergency medical technician from the MDA motorcycle unit, Ido Elmaleh, said: "When we arrived at the scene of the incident, we saw the injured man, a 36-year-old man, conscious and suffering from penetrating injuries to his body.
""We provided him with initial, life-saving medical treatment, and urgently evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital's trauma room, where his condition is moderate and stable.".
Doron Razgan, Yaakov Maman Aviad Ketvi, Ihud Hatzalu paramedics: "According to his family, he was injured as a result of violence. After the initial medical aid we provided him at the scene - stopping the bleeding and bandaging him - he was taken to Hillel Yaffe Hospital, where at this stage his condition is described as moderate.".
Police say that all avenues of investigation are being examined at this stage.
""Zichron police are at the scene and have begun collecting evidence as part of the investigation that has been opened. The circumstances of the incident are being examined.".
