Captivity survivor Eli-Ha Cohen arrived today (Sunday), along with his partner Ziv Aboud, a survivor of the Nova party, to a shelter in Kibbutz Re'im from which he was kidnapped on October 7.

Cohen placed tefillin in place and shared the moving moment in a post he published on Instagram: "From the exact point where I was kidnapped, I repeat the same sentence I said a moment before the kidnapping, 'Hear Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.'".

Speaking to fighters on the Gaza border, Cohen said: "I want to say thank you, you are my heroes. Thank you for getting up every morning and choosing to do this, these are choices that cannot be described in words. I didn't choose to be there, you choose to be there and turn over every stone, I love you.".

Also kidnapped from the same shelter were Or Levi, who was released from Hamas captivity after 491 days, Alon Ohel, who is still in Gaza, and Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was murdered in captivity.
