The terrorist organization Hamas rejected this evening (Thursday) the Israeli proposal for an agreement to release hostages and a ceasefire.
Khalil al-Khayya, who is in charge of negotiations on behalf of Hamas, claimed: "Netanyahu set impossible conditions for the deal that do not lead to an end to the war and a complete withdrawal. He and his government violated the deal before the end of its first phase.".
""We are ready to immediately begin negotiations on a comprehensive deal, which includes the release of all hostages in exchange for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners; a complete Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip; and the beginning of the reconstruction of the Strip.".
The member of the political and security cabinet, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, responded to Hamas's announcement: "The State of Israel will not, God forbid, surrender to Hamas and will not end the war without a complete victory and the realization of its full goals, which include the destruction of Hamas and the return of all the hostages.
""The time has come to open the gates of hell on Hamas, to deepen the fighting until the complete occupation of the Strip, the destruction of Hamas, and the implementation of President Trump's plan for the voluntary departure of Gazans for rehabilitation in other countries. Mr. Prime Minister, go ahead. Give the order.".
Minister of National Security and Cabinet member Itamar Ben-Gvir said: "Now there are no excuses, and the time has come for absolute victory. Hamas's announcement allows Israel to realize its dreams. Dear Prime Minister – it is in your hands.".
