The IDF and Shin Bet attacked about two weeks ago in the center of the Gaza Strip, killing the terrorist Hamza Wa'il Muhammad Asfa, head of the Nuhba cell in the Deir al-Balah Battalion, who participated in the murderous attack on the Gaza perimeter on October 7.
As part of his role in the terrorist organization, the terrorist took part in the cynical "liberation ceremony" of captive survivors Eliyahu Sharabi, Ohad Ben-Ami, and Or Levi.
The IDF stated that prior to the attack, steps were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians, including the use of aerial observations and additional intelligence information.
