
The Minister of Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition, Meir Porush, who is responsible for the Rashbi celebration in Meron, today (Wednesday) held a comprehensive and in-depth tour of the Mount Meron complex, as part of the extensive preparations of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition for the Rashbi celebration in Meron 2015.
The tour was attended by the commander of the Northern District of the Israel Police, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu, the senior command of the Northern Command of the Israel Police and the commanders of the various sectors in the celebration, the celebration projector Yossi Deitch, the Director General of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Jewish Tradition Shimon Album, Deputy Director General and Head of the Meron Division Haim Rosenstein, the Minister's Chief of Staff Shimon Blau, the celebration producer Dudi Azrieli, and other senior officials from the Ministry of Jerusalem and Jewish Tradition, the managers of the complexes and areas, the safety advisors, and more.
Prior to the tour, a broad meeting was held at the Kinneret Region headquarters, headed by Minister Porush and Deputy Director General Eliyahu, to present plans for the final phase of preparations for the celebration and to formulate the final outline of the activities throughout the day of the celebration.
Minister Porush, who is responsible for the Rashbi celebration in Meron, expanded at the meeting on the weight of the responsibility placed on his shoulders and the shared obligation of all relevant parties to draw lessons from past years and adopt the directive of 2013 - then, with the help of God, a large-scale celebration took place in joy and safety, based on cooperation with the public and the preservation of the sacred tradition of the celebration in Meron.
The tour of the area began at the expanded Hilula complex - 89, where comprehensive infrastructure work is currently underway to improve and improve the complex, which has been expanded by dozens of dunams, including water and sewage infrastructure, asphalt, and more.
The minister and the MMAZ also reviewed the planned production plan for the complex.
A tour of the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva complex followed, which also serves as a significant gathering area on the day of the celebration, and where lightings and events will be held in accordance with the long-standing tradition at the site. The production and commanders reviewed the details of the operational and executive plan at the site with the senior officials.
Minister Porush and Project Engineer Deutsch toured the Mehadrin Road, which is currently undergoing a significant upgrade with a huge investment by the Ministry of Jerusalem and Israel Tradition, including finishing and safety work, so that the road that leads thousands towards Zion will be with maximum safety and perfect comfort.
Near the Rashbi Memorial, the participants held a lengthy field discussion on the Haredi stewardship plan, which operated with great success and with divine help in 2003 and which will continue this year for the benefit of the masses who will be privileged to enter the holy memorial on the day of Hilula.


The tour concluded with all the participating parties noting the importance of cooperation and coordination between all relevant parties and the agreement that the Hilula model in 2013 should be relied upon as a successful outline for holding Hilula happily and safely.
