The commander of the Bnei Brak station, Lieutenant Colonel Rotem Wasker, and the district rabbi, Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Keb, accompanied by strategic advisor Eliyahu Arend, arrived to visit the elders of Israel and the rabbis of the city of Bnei Brak in preparation for Passover.
First, they arrived at the residence of the Rosh Yeshiva, the Garav Povarsky. The Rosh Yeshiva heard about the activity and the prevention of a terrorist attack that had recently been prevented even within the city of Bnei Brak - and congratulated the participants who would be blessed with "always being quiet and Bnei Brak always being protected and not needing the police."
They then arrived at the residence of the Rosh Yeshiva, the Grama Hirsch, who heard about the preparations for the holidays, including times of joy such as preparing our water from the city's water well. The Rosh Yeshiva blessed the participants with a kosher and happy Passover.
Afterwards, they arrived at a meeting at the city rabbinical office, Harchai Landa and Harshatz Rosenblatt.
Also participating in all the meetings were City Council member and municipal policing portfolio holder Yaakov Biton, AGM officer Capt. Zephaniah Mark, and municipal policing commander, Inspector Elad Amoyel.
The city's rabbis praised the many activities carried out by the police for the benefit of the residents, while coordinating with them, and upholding the city's rules on Shabbat and holidays.
The rabbis congratulated Lt. Col. Rotem Wesker on his promotion to serve as the Tel Aviv Central Command Commander, and welcomed Lt. Col. Elad Klein, who will soon assume the position of Commander of the Dan Region.
