Investigations of October 7: The IDF presented today (Thursday) the investigation into the massacre at the Nova party for survivors of the massacre.

Yesterday, the IDF investigation was presented to the bereaved families of those murdered in the 14th massacre.

Eliran Maoz, who survived the massacre at the Nova party, accused the army on the program "Halfway Through the Day" on Channel B: "The answers they give are soap operas. A respected officer speaks politically correct. They don't explain where the Air Force was. The officers say, 'We are not talking about personal conclusions, but rather presenting the findings of an investigation.'".

Maoz added that the army explained where the army failed, "but did not say who was responsible and why the failure occurred.".

Nova survivor Adi Gabay Neve said she is not interested in hearing the details of the investigation: "We are literally surviving, it ended our lives, so do I have time to hear lies? Do they see who is sitting across from them? Absolutely not. If there were no National Insurance, the children and I would be on the street.".

At the party, 344 civilians were murdered, 34 security forces were killed, and 44 people were kidnapped.

The investigation presented to the families yesterday dealt only with the party complex itself, where 170 people were murdered.

Major Dan Goldfuss told the families, while admitting a failure to protect the revelers and apologizing: "We were obligated to provide security for this festival. There should have been a warning.".

The other officer who was in charge of presenting the investigation, Brigadier General (res.) Ido Mizrahi, said: "We allowed the enemy, Hamas and Hezbollah, to grow stronger. We preferred peace to going to war and removing the threat near the fence and the settlements.".
